List of rivers in Ivory Coast

This is a list of the rivers in Ivory Coast . The country drains mostly in a relatively straight line from north to south into the Gulf of Guinea . There are three rivers that together cover two thirds of the area: the Sassandra , the Bandama and the Comoé . Other rivers that cover parts of the Ivory Coast with their catchment area are Cavally , Niger and Volta . There are also several coastal rivers .

Dams were built in many rivers, some of which dammed large lakes such as the Kossoustausee and the Buyo Lake .
