List of bodies of water in the Speltach river system

This list of waters in the Speltach river system includes the direct and indirect tributaries of the Speltach , one on its name course about 7 km, together with its longer upper course a little over 11 km long small river in the Baden-Württemberg district of Schwäbisch Hall . The Speltach has a catchment area of ​​just over 37 km², which lies entirely in the natural area of Burgberg-Vorhöhen and Speltachbucht and includes the greater part of this. Apart from short initial sections, in which other neighboring municipalities also have a share, the upper reaches are in the area of ​​the municipality of Frankenhardt , as is the larger part of the river itself, the lower reaches with the mouth at Jagstheimhowever, in the urban area of Crailsheim .

Origin of the Speltach through the confluence of Buchbach and Lanzenbach at about 422  m above sea level. NHN on the southern edge of Frankenhardt - Oberspeltach .

• Buchbach , right and western upper reaches, 4.3 km and 6.7 km². Arises at about 473  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.7 km northwest of Frankenhardt- Steinehaig on the northeast slope of the Hackenberg .
  • Schwarzbach , from the right and west-southwest to about 460  m above sea level. NHN north-northeast of Steinehaig in the Schwarzsee bay in the forest, 0.5 km and approx. 0.2 km². Arises at about 467  m above sea level. NHN northwest of Steinehaig.
    • (Inflow), from the right and southwest to about 462  m above sea level. NHN north of Steinehaig, over 0.2 km and approx. 0.1 km². Arises at about 467  m above sea level. NHN at the old Steinehaiger outdoor pool.
  • Passed at about 436  m above sea level. NHN about a hundred meters before the next two small ponds on the right bank.
  • Seelesbach , from the right and southwest to about 434  m above sea level. NHN in front of the bridge on the road from Frankenhardt- Waldbuch to Frankenhardt- Bonolzhof , approx. 2.3 km and approx. 1.6 km². Arises at about 472  m above sea level. NHN a little south of the L 1064 Vellberg-Frankenhardt- Spaichbühl .
    The Buchbach upper course up to this tributary is almost as long, but has a catchment area of ​​just 1.0 km².
    • (Road ditch), from the left and west-southwest to about 439  m above sea level. NHN a little west of a timber company on the southern edge of Waldbuch, 0.8 km and about 0.3 km². Arises at about 55  m above sea level. NHN and follows the entire length of the K 2666 Steinehaig – Waldbuch. Only intermittent flow, pronounced trough only on the second half of the course.
  • Seebach , from the left and finally west to about 431  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.2 km northeast of Bonolzhof, 2.1 km and approx. 2.3 km². Arises at about 455  m above sea level. NHN in the Burgbergwald approx. 150 meters north of the road to the former military dump in Heiligenholz and initially flows southeast.
    • (Inflow), from the right and west-southwest to about 442.3  m above sea level. NHN on the middle course on the edge of a meadow accompanying the Seebach, approx. 1.1 km and approx. 0.7 km². Arises at about 459  m above sea level. NHN as an often dry ditch in the larger and more southern forest clearing north of the light oaks .
      • Flows through to about 447  m above sea level. NHN a pond dammed behind a forest path dam after strong forest meanders on the middle reaches, over 0.2 ha.
      • (Other upper course), from the left and west to about 445  m above sea level. NHN in the beginning of the Unterlauf-Wiesenaue, up to approx. 0.6 km and approx. 0.3 km². Usually flow only on the lower half of the barrel.
        • Seldom escapes at around 457  m above sea level. NHN two forest ponds surrounded by reed beds on the eastern edge of the smaller forest clearing in the forest , together with a belt of reed beds under 0.5 ha.
  • Birkbach , from the right and southwest to about 423  m above sea level. NHN opposite the settlement around the Ahornweg in Frankenhardt- Oberspeltach , 1.3 km and approx. 0.5 km². Arises at about 448  m above sea level. NHN on Stra0e Waldbuch– Banzenweiler across from an Aussiedlerhof southeast of Waldbuch.

• Lanzenbach , left and northwestern upper reaches, approx. 4.5 km and 6.7 km². Arises at about 457  m above sea level. NHN approx. 1.5 km south of Vellberg - Lorenzenzimmern on the western edge of a forest on the Strüt
  • (Waldrinnsal), from the left and north to about 445  m above sea level. NHN opposite the fourteen wood from the Pfaffenschab , at least 0.5 km and about 0.3 km². Flows at about 458  m above sea level. NHN a field drainage on the northern edge of the forest to the corridor portion of the Pfaffenschabs . The main course, which is around 0.7 km long here, has a partial catchment area of ​​around 0.8 km².
  • (Rinnsal), from the right and southwest to about 439  m above sea level. NHN at the beginning of the valley just before the next, approx. 0.2 km and approx. 0.3 km². Arises at about 445  m above sea level. NHN next to the winding Waldwegtalsteige down to the Pfaffenweiher.
  • Feeds at about 445  m above sea level. NHN the Pfaffenweiher , 0.6 hectares, located immediately to the left of the river .
    The path out of the forest, which changes to the left in front of the lake, now follows the creek to the point where it flows into the valley on the left.
  • Muckenbach , from the left and from the north-northeast to about 434  m above sea level. NHN in the Auengewann Seeleswasen from a wide side plain , 1.2 km and approx. 1.0 km². Arises at about 466  m above sea level. NHN northwest of the castle hill at a junction of the forest road that surrounds it in a wide ring.
    A little after this tributary, the Lanzenbach turns to the south-east.
  • Schneiderwasenbach , from the right and west to about 428  m above sea level. NHN from the Schneiderswasen , approx. 0.9 km and approx. 0.6 km². Arises at about 440  m above sea level. NHN in a valley bay with coppice forest between the Heiligenberg in the north and the Anbühl in the south. Initially inconspicuous meadow channel without a recognizable bed.
  • Lichtmessbach , from the left and northeast to 427.2  m above sea level. NHN a little after the previous one to the west of the Mettelbühl- Sporn, 1.0 km and about 0.9 km². Arises at about 448  m above sea level. NHN and runs through the light measuring blade in the open corridor almost from the start .
  • Passes at heights of 425  m above sea level. At first an almost dried up pool, approx. 0.1 ha, shortly afterwards a small pond, under 0.1 ha, both directly on the right bank in the undeveloped valley floodplain after the first Oberspeltach houses on the hills.

• Gronbach , from the left to just under 419.2  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.5 km southwest of the outskirts of Oberspeltach, 1.0 km and approx. 0.5 km². Arises at about 453  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.8 km east of the outskirts of Oberspeltach at the beginning of its forest blade in the Hörle forest .
  • (Pond runoff), from the right and north-northeast to about 435  m above sea level. NHN at the exit of the Gronbach forest, approx. 0.1 km and over 0.2 km². Flows at about 440  m above sea level. NHN a tiny pond on the western edge of the Hörles to the open Gronbachfeld .

• Breitbach , from the left and north-northeast to just under 419  m above sea level. NHN in Wiesengewann width , approx. 1.0 km and approx. 0.2 km². Arises at about 456  m above sea level. NHN about 0.9 km east-northeast of the outskirts of Oberspeltach.

• Kirchbergbach , from the right and west southwest to about 418  m above sea level. NHN shortly after the previous one, 0.8 km and about 0.3 km². Arises at about 442  m above sea level. NHN am Kirchberg approx. 250 meters east of the K 2639 Oberspeltach– Banzenweiler .

• Betzenbach , from the right and west-southwest at 417  m above sea level. NHN across from Fichtenhaus / Schmierhaus, approx. 4.5 km and 5.2 km². Arises as a Taubbach at about 467  m above sea level. NHN southwest of Spaichbühl .
  • Taubbach, right and west-southwest main line upper course, approx. 2.8 km and approx. 2.9 km². Arises southwest of Spaichbühl in an up to 467  m above sea level. NHN high-reaching, herbaceous Wiesenquell basin at the foot of the eastern slope Struthalde of Hahn Berg ( 505.9  m above sea level. NHN ). The stream runs about east-northeast.
    • Bühlbach , from the right and southwest to a little below 445.8  m above sea level. NHN on the L 1064 Spaichbühl-Gründelhardt, 0.8 km and approx. 0.7 km². The Brühlbach, which is approx. 1.0 km long up to this tributary, has a catchment area of ​​approx. 0.7 km².
      • Flows at about 465  m above sea level. NHN a pond next to the small street Spaichbühl– Brunzenberg on the edge of the Hahnenbergwald, 0.1 ha.
        • (Pond inlet) from the southeast, with a tapering forest rivulet from the south, on the longest flow path under 0.2 km and approx. 0.3 km². Arise at heights of almost 475  m above sea level. NHN .
    • Rinnichbach , from the left and west to about 435  m above sea level. NHN in front of the northern foot of the Nonnenkappel ( 502.5  m above sea level ), 1.2 km and approx. 0.5 km². Arises at about 455  m above sea level. NHN east of the K 2665 Spaichbühl – Waldbuch in the Wiesengewann Rinnich .
    • (Pond drain), from the right and south-southeast to about 432  m above sea level. NHN just before Banzenweiler, approx. 0.2 km and approx. 0.2 km².
      • Flows in a natural hollow at about 433  m above sea level. NHN a pond at the northern tip of the Nonnenkappel forest, 0.3 ha.
  • Haselbach , left and west side branch upper reaches, 1.2 km and approx. 1.0 km². Arises at about 447  m above sea level. NHN in the Wasenäckern south of Waldbuch and runs in its natural hollow as a ditch next to a well-developed dirt road to Banzenweiler.
    • (Another Haselbach branch), from the left and west-northwest to about 434  m above sea level. NHN a little west of Banzenweiler, approx. 0.7 km and approx. 0.5 km². Arises at about 446  m above sea level. NHN between an Aussiedlerhof from Waldbuch in the northwest and the Haselhalde in the southeast.

    • (Pond drain), from the right and south to about 426  m above sea level. NHN on a field lane crossing in the Betzenbach itself, approx. 0.3 km and approx. 0.2 km².
      • Flows in a natural hollow at about 440  m above sea level. NHN a small pond next to the K 2639 Gründelhardt – Banzenweiler, under 0.1 ha.
  • ← (return of the Rauhenbach tributary), from the left to a little below 423.4  m above sea level. NHN next to the little road from the Betzenmühle to the L 1066 , 0.8 km.
    • Flows through before the Betzenmühle to about 427  m above sea level. NHN their elongated former mill pond, 0.4 ha.

• Hörlesbach , from the left and finally north-northeast to a little over 416  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.5 km southeast of Fichtenhaus and after the Speltach bridge on the L 1066 , 2.2 km and approx. 1.5 km². Arises at about 448.3  m above sea level. NHN in the Hörle forest approx. 1 km north of Frankenhardt-Fichtenhaus.
  • (Bach in northern Hörle ), from the left and northwest to about 423  m above sea level. NHN near the crossing under the L 1066, up to 0.7 km and approx. 0.273 km². Runs in the area of ​​the state road in an artificial ditch. With unstable water flow.
  • Fichtenbach , from the right and west-northwest to about 423  m above sea level. NHN in the northern Greut bay between the forest troughs of Hörles and Speltachhalde about 0.7 km east-northeast of Fichtenhaus, 0.8 km and about 0.3 km². Arises at about 440  m above sea level. NHN approx. 0.5 km north of Fichtenhaus in the Hörles forest . Lower course drained in Greut .

• Stettbach , from the right and southwest to just under 416  m above sea level. NHN northeast of the Handwaldinsel Stetteichen , 4.9 km and 8.4 km². Arises at about 474  m above sea level. NHN at the eastern foot of the mountain forest murderer .
  • Brechbach , from the right and southeast to about 434.3  m above sea level. NHN about half a kilometer east below Hellmannshofen , 1.6 km and about 1.3 km². Arises at about 495  m above sea level. NHN on the northern edge of Vorderuhlberg.   • Ghaiwasenbach (also probably wrong Gh ei wasenbach ), from the right and east to about 432  m above sea level. NHN about half a kilometer west of Altenfelden, 1.2 km and about 1.0 km². Arises at about 448  m above sea level. NHN on the southwestern edge of the forest hill forest .
    From this tributary on, the Stettbach moves northeast to north-northeast.
  • Niederbach , from the left and west-southwest to about 427.8  m above sea level. • Schmindbach , from the right and south to about 413  m above sea level. NHN near Unterspeltach , 0.8 km approx and 0.8 km². Arises at about 430  m above sea level. NHN south of Unterspeltach on the Schmindhalde .

• Hofbach , from the right and east-southeast to about 412  m above sea level. NHN less than half a kilometer below the river bridge at Unterspeltach, 0.8 km and approx. 0.2 km². Arises at about 463  m above sea level. NHN next to the Bechhof –Unterspeltach road just below the small pass.

• Scheidklingenbach , from the left and northwest to about 411  m above sea level. NHN between Unterspeltach and Crailsheim- Jagstheim , 1.5 km and approx. 1.1 km². Arises at about 433  m above sea level. NHN approx. 1.2 km north of Unterspeltach in the Scheidklinge forest .

Mouth of the Speltach from the right and west to about 404  m above sea level. NHN about 0.2 km northeast of the outskirts of the western part of the settlement of Crailsheim - Jagstheim . The Speltach is 6.9 km from the confluence of the two upper courses to Oberspeltach, 11.2 km and 11.4 km respectively from the source of the two upper courses and has a 37.4 km² catchment area.
