Garden city of Rüppurr Asternweg, Blumenweg, Dahlienweg, Diakonissenstrasse, Goldlackweg, Heckenweg, Holderweg, Im Grün, Irisweg, Krokusweg, Ligusterweg, Ostendorfplatz, Primelweg, Resedenweg, Rosenweg, Staudenweg, Wickenweg 1911 Gartenstadt Rüppurr, the Gartenstadt Karlsruhe GmbH was founded in 1907 on the initiative of Hans Kampffmeyer (Secretary General of the German Garden City Society) Development plan 1910 ff. By Hans Kampffmeyer and Karl Kohler, further elaborated by Friedrich Ostendorf and Max Laeuger in 1912. The development of the settlement took place in the main construction phases 1911–1915, 1919–1922 and 1923–1929. In addition to Kohler and Ostendorf, the architects Pfeifer & Großmann and Georg Botz from Karlsruhe deserve special mention. The buildings mentioned below on Lützowstrasse and Rastatter Strasse (see there) are part of the complex around Ostendorfplatz; they were built in 1920-22 according to plans by the municipal building construction office (totality, see mapping).

Pastor Lebrecht Mayer's tomb Lange Str. 28 1926 Tomb Pastor Lebrecht Mayer (1849–1926) and his wife Thekla, Mayer was pastor of the Protestant community Rüppurr and author of the book Messages from the History of Rüppurr, he was significantly involved in the implementation and furnishing of the new Protestant church.
