The cultural monument is a manufacturer's villa which, together with the outbuilding (so-called Winkelhaus), the gardener's house and the surrounding park, forms an ensemble of individual monuments within the meaning of Section 2 (2) of the SächsDSchG. The ensemble was built around the turn of the century on behalf of the Andrae family of manufacturers from Zwickau, who owned a rope factory in Lichtenau.

The two-storey outbuilding, also known as the Winkelhaus due to its L-shaped floor plan, adjoins the villa in a northerly direction at a small distance. This creates the character of an inner courtyard between the villa and the outbuilding. This is open to the east for development. Originally the outbuilding was used as a horse stable and carriage shed. The coachman's apartment was probably located on the upper floor and hay was stored in the attic. The facades of the adjoining building are characterized by window and door frames made of artificial stone with added porphyry flour on the ground floor and decorative framework on the upper floor. The gable roof, which is covered with pear tails, is hipped on one side and characterized by several small triangular dormers and a tower-like roof structure.

The single-storey gardener's house with a loft is located in a northerly direction behind the villa and the corner house, almost on the upper edge of the property. Characterized by the half-timbered construction on the upper floor, a turret on the east side and the windows with the finely-lined skylights, the building fits harmoniously into the overall ensemble a. 1: 1 copy of the original house.
