List of cultural assets in Ringgenberg

The list of cultural assets in Ringgenberg contains all objects in the municipality of Ringgenberg in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in category A and B are fully included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Ruins of a hilltop castle built in the late 12th century on a narrow rock ridge, partially destroyed in 1380. A baroque church building was built within the complex in 1680 . Its rectangular sermon hall under a quarter-hipped roof rests largely on the old defensive walls. The southwestern defensive massif was converted into a front tower.

Remains of a Romanesque church building built at the end of the 12th century and abandoned in 1672 . The building on a prominent rock hump between the Aare and the Brienzerseestrasse consisted of an elongated nave without a separate choir and a southwest anteroom. On the north-eastern narrow side there is a tower made of excellent quarry stone masonry.
