List of cultural assets in Unterseen
The list of cultural assets in Unterseen contains all objects in the municipality of Unterseen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .
Objects in category A and B are fully included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Ruins of a low castle from the 12th century, which stands on a former island at the mouth of the Aare into Lake Thun and was left to decay in the 16th century. Almost square complex with a high tower in the northwest corner, next to it a rectangular residential building. Towards the sea is a walled forecourt, which probably served as a sust and port facility.

The town, founded by Walter von Eschenbach in 1279 , is a trapezoidal complex that was secured on three sides by walls and moats, while the fourth side is protected by the Aare . The ditch can still be seen today along the upper row of houses.

The hotel , built in 1818/19, is a mighty four-storey plastered building with 9 × 5 axes under a slightly bent full hipped roof . The ground floor largely corresponds to the floor plan of the earlier department store from 1470, and various parts of this previous building were also used during the construction. The arcade consists of limestone pillars and arcades that imitate stone .

Church building built in 1852/53 after the collapse of the previous building (by Abraham Dünz ) and including older parts. The classicist sermon hall is attached to the preserved church tower from 1491 and is a rectangular structure under a gable roof , without the choir . A mural by Hans Bandi is located above the main entrance framed with artificial sandstone .

The participants in the 1930-31 Aare built bathhouse in the style of modernism is a formally constituted by investing in concrete . The central, semicircular protruding restaurant with a square clock tower is adjoined on both sides by two-storey cloakroom wings, characterized by regular support positions. These are each completed by a single-storey wing structure with a sun terrace attached at right angles. |
