Courtyard of the Autrey Monastery | A house of the Autrey Monastery is said to have stood on this site as early as 1320 . The current building was built in 1510 and sold to the rich winemaker Melchior Strauss in 1579. He had the building rebuilt by the Milanese architect Anthoni Mutzat until 1581. The three-winged building forms an inner courtyard, which is protected by a wall with a round arched gate. In the inner courtyard there is a yoke well from 1587. In one of the corners there is a polygonal tower with a stone tracery parapet as the end of the building. Two coats of arms can be seen in the lintel of the tower portal, the year 1581 and the initials IF. These stand for Ioannes Fehr , a church attendant who rented the building here for a few years and then bought the building. On the two upper floors of the outer facade of the right wing of the building there is a rectangular bay window on brackets with half-timbering on the upper floor.

Bilstein Castle | The exact founding date of the castle is unknown; the castle was first mentioned in 1217. The keep and mantle wall were built at the beginning of the 13th century at the latest. At that time, the facility was owned by the von Horburg family. In 1324 the castle went to Count Ulrich III. of Württemberg. In the 16th century the castle was expanded and strengthened. During the Thirty Years War, imperial soldiers captured the castle in 1636 and razed it. As a result, the buildings fell into disrepair and were used as a quarry by the local population. The complex consisted of an upper castle with a keep and a lower castle with commercial and residential buildings, which were surrounded by a double curtain wall. Parts of the square keep are still preserved today from both of the upper castle's buildings, which were built from humpback ashlars. In the area of the lower castle, remnants of the two ring walls can still be seen. The economic buildings have disappeared, only a wall of the hall has been preserved.

Castle of the Counts of Württemberg-Mömpelgard | The renaissance palace was built in 1539/40 by Georg I von Württemberg-Mömpelgard . The counts rarely lived here, which is why the castle mainly served as the administrative seat. In 1861 the main building came into the possession of the city, which established a school. When the school moved out in 1970, a museum on the history of the post office in Alsace was established here. The rear facade is preceded by a polygonal stair tower. In the gable of the portal the coat of arms of the Counts of Württemberg-Mömpelgard. Staggered gables decorate the narrow sides of the three-story plastered building.

Notre-Dame church | Notre-Dame was built in 1337 by Ulrich von Württemberg to store a miraculous image of Mary from Bilstein Castle. Until the Reformation the church was a place of pilgrimage, then the picture was destroyed. The church tower and choir were also destroyed during the French Revolution. The church, now profaned, is hardly recognizable as a house of God. A tracery window is still preserved on the west side of the three-aisled basilica . The central nave can still be recognized by three ogival arcades, the southern aisle was demolished, the northern aisle is still partially preserved. The window walls still show remains of painting.
