List of city selections in the Messestädte-Pokal

On April 18, 1955, the trade fair trophy was launched, a competition for soccer teams that was originally reserved for “classic” European trade fair cities . The best players from different clubs in a city were formed to select cities. But already in the second competition in 1958/60 , different club teams took over the representation of their cities.

A total of 12 selection teams took part in the first 6 tournaments in the Messestädte-Pokal 1955-1958 to 1963/64 .
