Rennersdorf is part of the locality Mobschatz , which in turn belongs to the statistical district of Cossebaude / Mobschatz / Oberwartha of the Saxon state capital Dresden. The federal motorway 4 ( Europastraße 40 ) running in east-west direction forms the southern border of the Rennersdorfer Flur.
