The list of streets and squares in the old town I describes the road system in the Dresden district Old Town I with the corresponding historical references. Cultural monuments in the district Old Town I are in the list of cultural monuments in the old town I listed.
In the district of Altstadt I are the districts of Innere Altstadt , (northern) Pirnaische Vorstadt , Seevorstadt and (inner) Wilsdruffer Vorstadt . This is surrounded by the 26th Ring , and several federal highways meet there. The north-south axis in the form of St. Petersburger Strasse ( Bundesstrasse 170 ), from which the Bürgerwiese branches off at Georgplatz, plays a central role . In the north-west of the district, federal road 173 also meets federal road 6 , which crosses the Elbe in the course of the Marienbrücke . Further Elbe crossings starting from Old Town I are the Augustus Bridge and the Carolabrücke . The easternmost and uppermost inner-city Elbe bridge, the Albert Bridge , on the other hand, begins in Old Town II .
In total, there are currently (as of March 2013) 132 named streets and 26 named squares in Old Town I, which are listed in the following list.

With the widening of König-Johann-Strasse in the course of the reconstruction to Ernst-Thälmann-Strasse, a dead end remained from Landhausstrasse which ended in a square (15 × 15 m²) at the Hungarian restaurant "Szeged". With the redesign around Neumarkt, the new corner house was created on Landhausstrasse. Due to its location, there is a bend in the house block at Wilsdruffer Strasse 4 (Szegedhaus).
In the 1840 address book, Friesengasse (Altst.) With the houses 1–8 is included. There was also the side street of the " Pirnaische Gasse ". It was called Landhausgäßchen , on the east side of which was the west wing of the estate and opposite a five-story residential building Landhausgäßchen 1. |
