The list of streets and squares in Altfranken describes the street system in the Dresden town of Altfranken with the corresponding historical references. Altfranken belongs to the statistical district of Gompitz / Altfranken of the Saxon state capital Dresden. The most important road in the Altfrankener Flur is the federal motorway 17 ( Europastraße 55 ) on its section between the junctions Dresden-Gorbitz and -Südvorstadt. It divides the district from east to west into two roughly equal pieces and runs under the Altfranken Park in the Altfranken tunnel . About 400 meters further runs north - almost parallel to the highway also in east-west direction - the four lanes and height freely as feeder road upgraded Coventrystraße as part of the federal highway 173 . Altogether there are 19 named streets in Old Franconia, which are shown in the following list. In addition, there was the Altfrankener Schmiedeweg, which was greened around 2000 and named after the village's blacksmith shop .
