Niederpoyritz is part of the statistical district of Hosterwitz / Pillnitz , which in turn belongs to the Loschwitz district of the Saxon state capital Dresden. The most important street in the Niederpoyritz corridor is the Pillnitzer Landstrasse as part of the state road S 167 , which connects Bühlau via Loschwitz , Niederpoyritz and Pillnitz with the Pirna district of Copitz . The K 6201 district road that branches off from the state and goes under the name Staffelsteinstrasse up the Dresden Elbe slopes into the Schönfeld highlands plays a prominent role for traffic in the east of Dresden . Laubegaster Strasse location		Laubegast , neighboring district to the southwest	1904	The Laubegaster Straße leads from the Niederpoyritz village center along the Elbe meadows to Hosterwitz. At the former Gasthaus Zur Schanze in the west of the Hosterwitzer corridor, there was a ferry station across the Elbe to Laubegast from 1501 to 1992 .
Moosleitenweg location		Moosleite, a brook		The Moosleitenweg was initially referred to as the communal footpath to Pappritz and then as Moosleite (still the official name of the uppermost part in Pappritz today ). It is an important link from the Schönfeld highlands to the Laubegast – Niederpoyritz Elbe ferry .
Pappritzer Weg location		Pappritz , northern neighboring district	1902	The Pappritzer Weg was called Steinweg or Staffelweg in the 19th century and is part of the old connection from Niederpoyritz to Pappritz. When Staffelsteinstraße was built in 1914, it was partially built over and the upper section was designed as a staircase.
Pillnitzer Landstrasse location		Country road to Pillnitz	1953	The Pillnitzer Landstrasse emerged from the old connection route from Loschwitz to Pillnitz through road expansion, which was carried out on Niederpoyritzer Flur in 1886/87 . In the 19th century it was referred to as Loschwitz- Lohmener or Loschwitz-Pillnitzer Straße, from 1910 only as Pillnitzer Straße.
Plantagenweg location		Plantation	1950 (approx.)	The Plantagenweg was initially called Schulstrasse, as the Niederpoyritz schoolhouse was located there. In connection with the incorporation to Dresden , the street was renamed to avoid confusion with streets of the same name in the city area.
Rockauer Strasse location		Rockau		The Rockauer road is part of the old connection between Niederpoyritz and the eastern neighboring district Rockau expanded and was in the early 20th century to the street. In 1916 it was renamed Hans-Dieterich-Straße after the commercial director of the chemical factory in Helfenberg Hans Dieterich (1867–1916), a son of Eugen Dieterich . Because of confusion with the neighboring Eugen-Dieterich-Straße it was renamed again in 1930.
Settlement street location		settlement	1930	The Siedlungsstraße was built in the early 1920s to develop a residential area and was initially called Wohnstraße D. Its new name was unofficially already from 1927.
Staffelsteinstrasse location		Staffelstein Inn	1930	The Staffelstein road was built in 1914 by expanding the narrow and difficult navigable season Steinweg and was first called mountain road.
Wachwitzer Bergstrasse location		Street in Wachwitz , located on a mountain		The Wachwitzer Bergstrasse was created after 1900 by converting an old farm road into a driveway. The lower part was initially called Dr.-Weingart-Straße after the private financier of the street, the owner of the property located here. It was given the name Bergstrasse in 1911, the addition of Wachwitzer became necessary after the incorporation into Dresden to avoid confusion with streets of the same name in the city area.
Residential path location		Living	1950	The residential path projected as residential street E in 1928 was to be expanded into a street from 1937, but this did not happen. It goes back to an old messenger path that connected the Wettin possessions in Pillnitz and Moritzburg through the Niederpoyritz vineyards and the Dresden Heath .
