The single-family house, designed in the style of “ New Building ” with influences from contemporary Dutch architecture and the Wiener Werkbundsiedlung from 1930, was built in 1932 under the construction of Paul Wörle . Individual details are borrowed from Expressionism. The cube-shaped two-storey structure made of plastered masonry with a concrete base has a flat roof with a roof terrace. The southwest corner is rounded, the northwest corner raised like a tower. The south-facing central entrance area is bay-like. On the first floor there are ribbon-like windows both on the rounded southwest corner and windows running across corners on the southeast corner. This means that the south facade is braced with the east or west facade. To the south there is a small terrace with a tire-like railing and protective roof.

In the 1920s it was expanded to its present size. On the facade, a memorial plaque attached in 1888 reminds of the overnight stays of the later Emperors Franz Joseph I and Maximilian of Mexico on the occasion of an ascent of Patscherkofel in 1848. 2011–2013 the inn was thoroughly renovated.
