A Romanesque hall building with a rectangular choir and a Gothic west tower. Parish 13./14. Century, deserted in the 16th century, rebuilt in 1784, 1683 destruction, 1686 reconstruction, 2nd half of the 19th century changes (additions in the south, 1870 oratory above the sacristy, 1884 portal extension), 1977 the crypt of the Lords from before 1620 Wurmbrand stuppach in the nave uncovered, then closed again.

Multi-tower complex with a towering keep over a strongly warped rectangular base, surrounded by a circular wall with four corner towers, the stronghold in the center, a hook-shaped "New Castle" on the wall in the northwest, several levels and courtyards, stronghold at the end of the 12th / beginning of the 13th century Erected, 2nd construction phase in the late Middle Ages, modern and baroque extensions, mentioned in a document in 1266, owned by the Lords of Kranichberg in the 14th century, Stubenberg family in 1386, Stubenberg-Wurmberg in 1457 (16th century alterations in the forecourt and lower courtyard), changing owners, 1600 to Ehrenreich von Wurmbrand zu Stuppach, expansion of the castle at the beginning of the 17th century, after 1791 there were various tenants.
