List of German team champions in weightlifting
In weightlifting , the title of German champion is also awarded to teams.
Regulation until the 2010/2011 season: Teams from the respective areas start in the North, Middle and South Bundesliga . The first placed each contest the Bundesliga finals, which will be held in one of the hometowns of the participants. The venue changes annually between the respective champions of the North, Central and South leagues.
Regulation from the 2011/2012 season: The number of seasons has been reduced from three (north, center and south) to two (north and south). The two season winners and the second with the best points (points average from the best fight of the round two) now take part in the final.
Regulation from the 2013/2014 season: In the course of the restructuring, away from the relay system towards a "uniform" table (2011/2012 the number of relay teams was already reduced from 3 to 2), the number of participants in the team championship finals increased from 3 to 2 reduced. Similarly, a “small final” for 3rd or 4th place was introduced. The round will now be played in a preliminary round (within the respective season) and subsequent playoffs (across all seasons).
