In the course of the preparation of the arbitration award, a Nicaraguan envoy stayed in Vienna for a short time, who on this occasion proposed the conclusion of a commercial agreement.
Until July 19, 1979, the ambassador in Rome was also regularly accredited in Vienna. From 1980 the embassy was located in Buchfeldgasse 18/1/3, from 1988 on Schwedenplatz 2/7/64.
