The list of probable election dates in Germany contains the probable election dates for European , Bundestag , Landtag and local elections as well as the election of the German Federal President . The direct elections of district administrators , lord mayors and mayors , which take place outside of the regular local elections, are not included. The most common rotation for the election periods is five years.
