The Little League World Series in 1953 was the 7th edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between 11 and 12 years of age. The team from Birmingham could win the only world championship for Alabama. For the 50th anniversary, the Birmingham People's Library put on an exhibition.
