The Little League World Series in 1992 was the 46th edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between the ages of 11 and 12. The game was played in South Williamsport .

It was the first event in which a group stage was played first.

The tournament was actually won by the Philippines 15: 4. However, a Filipino journalist later revealed that the team had used too old players and players from other cities. According to the regulations, the last game before these facts became known was considered a forfait for the opponent. As a result, the team from California was subsequently named world champion.
