The Little League World Series in 1959 was the 13th edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between 11 and 12 years of age. It was played for the first time in South Williamsport . Michigan was able to win a world championship for the first and only time. It was also the only title in the North / Central region until it was split up in 2000.
