The Little League World Series in 1982 was the 36th edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between the ages of 11 and 12. The game was played in South Williamsport .

The historic victory of the team from Washington State ended the winning streak of the Chinese Taipei , which lasted 31 games and five championship titles in a row.
