The Little League World Series 2008 was the 62nd edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between 11 and 12 years of age. Like every year, the game was played in South Williamsport , Pennsylvania .

The mode remained unchanged compared to 2007. The two groups Europe, Middle East and Africa and Transatlantic were dissolved, and the new groups Europe and Middle East - Africa were formed.

The 16 teams play in four groups of four teams each against each other . The two best teams then play for the title in qualifying games.
