The Little League World Series 2000 was the 54th edition of the Little League Baseball World Series , an international baseball tournament for boys between 11 and 12 years of age. The game was played in South Williamsport .

It was the last event with eight participants and four regions each. From 2001, the number of regions and, accordingly, the number of participants has doubled.
