The East Region was one of the four regions of the United States that sends participants to the Little League Baseball World Series , the largest youth baseball tournament. The East region was founded in 1957. In the first year, Eastern Canada was still organized in this region. From 1963 to 1967 Puerto Rico was part of this organization before it was reallocated to the Latin America region . By doubling the field of participants from 2001, the East region was divided into the Central Atlantic and New England regions.
