Liu Yunshan
Liu Yunshan ( Chinese 刘云山 , Pinyin Liú Yúnshān ; * July 1947 in Xinzhou , Shanxi ) is a Chinese communist politician. He has been a member of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party since 2002 . Since November 2012 he has been a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo .

career
Liu worked in Inner Mongolia for nearly thirty years, mostly in the propaganda apparatus, and most recently as the CCP's deputy party secretary from 1992 to 1993. In 1993 he was called to Beijing , where he became vice-head of the propaganda department of the CP Central Committee. From 2002 to 2007 he was the head of the propaganda department. He is the director of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China and has been a member of the Politburo Standing Committee since November 2012 .
