Lyudmila Marsovna Biktasheva
Lyudmila Marsowna Biktaschewa ( Russian Людмила Марсовна Бикташева , English transcription Lyudmila Biktasheva ; born July 25, 1974 in Kamensk-Uralsky ) is a Russian long-distance runner .
At the 1999 World Half Marathon Championships in Palermo she was ninth and won bronze with the Russian team. The following year, she came in 13th place in the 10,000-meter run at the Olympic Games in Sydney .
In 2001 she was tenth over 10,000 meters at the World Championships in Edmonton and finished 13th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Bristol .
The following year she was eleventh in the Osaka Women's Marathon and won the bronze medal over 10,000 meters at the European Championships in Munich .
In 2003 she won the 10k Ottawa Race Weekend and Bay to Breakers . At the Half Marathon World Championships in Vilamoura she was seventh and won gold with the team.
In 2008 she finished second at the Beach to Beacon 10K and came 20th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Rio de Janeiro .
In 2001 and 2002 she became the Russian champion over 10,000 meters.
