The Los Angeles Buccaneers were a US Football American team from Los Angeles , California , which in 1926 in the National Football League played (NFL).

history

The Buccaneers were founded in 1926 as a team of former players from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Southern California (USC). Due to lobbying by UCLA, the Buccaneers were banned from playing in Los Angeles, which is why the team only played away games. Tut Imlay and Brick Muller could be signed as head coach and player , who also helped with the sale of tickets. The Buccaneers ended the season with six wins, three losses and one draw. In 1927, the team was disbanded as part of the restructuring of the NFL after only one season.
