It was written by Billie Eilish with her brother Finneas O'Connell and Khalid especially for the second season of the American teen drama series Dead Girls Don't Lie .
The song was originally released as a digital single on April 19, 2018 . Later it was only included on the expanded Japanese edition of Billie Eilish's debut mini album.
