Ludwig I. (Württemberg)
Ludwig I (around 1119 ; † 1158 ) was Count of Württemberg from 1138 to 1158.
Ludwig I was a son of Konrad II and Hadelwig. Together with his brother Emicho , he appeared at the court of King Conrad III from 1139 to 1154 . and Emperor Friedrich I. Barbarossa .
Ludwig I was the first of the Württemberger dynasty to be referred to in a reliable document as a count , and thus also the first Wirtemberger to surely have a county. He was probably Vogt of the Canon of the Holy Sepulcher in Denkendorf Monastery .
