Mario Spaki

Mário Spaki (born December 14, 1971 in Irati , Paraná , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Paranavaí .

Life

Mário Spaki studied in Ponta Grossa and until 1998 at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome . There he obtained his degree in dogmatic theology in 2001. SpaKi received on August 3, 2003 the Archbishop of Florianópolis , Murilo Ramos Krieger SCJ , the sacrament of Holy Orders . He was first parish priest in the parish of São José , from 2004 to 2012 he led the philosophical seminar there. In 2013 he became Executive Secretary of the Episcopal Council of Paraná .

On April 25, 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Paranavaí. The Bishop of Ponta Grossa , Sérgio Arthur Braschi , donated him episcopal ordination on June 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Maringá , Anuar Battisti , and the Bishop of Osasco , João Bosco Barbosa de Sousa, OFM .
