The furniture Kraft AG is a retail company in the furniture industry. The company is based in Bad Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein . The north German company operates a total of eight furniture stores in six federal states.
history
Möbel Kraft was founded in 1893 by Hinrich Kraft as a small cabinet maker. His son, the master carpenter Artur Kraft, built the well-known red and white Bad Segeberg furniture store , borne by the great need for new furniture in the post-war period . In 1973 the sons Gerhard and Reinhard Kraft joined the company.
In 2004, the furniture entrepreneur Kurt Krieger , owner of the Höffner furniture store, joined Möbel Kraft AG and thus saved the company from impending bankruptcy.
