Location of Münstedt in Ilsede

Münstedt is a part of the municipality of Ilsede in the district of Peine ( Lower Saxony ). The village is east of the neighboring towns of Oberg and Groß Lafferde .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1189 when Bishop Adelog von Hildesheim removed the Oberg chapel from the mother church in Münstedt.

On February 1, 1971, Münstedt was combined with the previously independent communities of Adenstedt , Gadenstedt , Groß Lafferde and Oberg to form the community of Lahstedt . On July 10, 2014, the members of the municipal council decided to merge the municipalities of Lahstedt and Ilsede . The merger of the municipalities was implemented on January 1, 2015.
