Bülten is a district of the municipality of Ilsede in the district of Peine , Lower Saxony, to the north of the center .

history

Tumuli fields from the late Bronze Age which is about to v 1000th BC can be found in Bültener wood. The village of Bülten was first mentioned in 1318. The fact that the population exceeded around 2500 inhabitants was the reason to rename the community from "Klein Bülten" to "Bülten" in 1966. On February 1, 1971, Bültens merged with the surrounding towns to form the community of Ilsede.

Bernd Wuttke (deceased) ( SPD ) was the local mayor until mid-November 2009 . He was followed by the deputy mayor Karl-Otto Böker ( CDU ). Werner Bethmann (SPD) has been the local mayor since the 2011 local elections.

• The old chapel in Bülten is from the 15th century. Today it serves as a special wedding room for the Ilsede registry office.
