Mableton is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cobb County in the US state of Georgia with 37,115 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Mableton borders the cities of Austell and Smyrna and is about 10 km south of Marietta and west of Atlanta . Interstate 20 , US Highway 78 and Georgia State Routes 5 and 139 cross or touch the CDP .

Demographic data

According to the 2010 census, the 37,115 inhabitants at that time were distributed among 13,409 inhabited households, which gives an average of 2.76 people per household. There are a total of 15,047 households.

70.5% of the households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring) with an average size of 3.28 persons. There were children under the age of 18 in 40.5% of all households and persons aged 65 and over in 16.7% of all households.
