MacKenzie Grace Mauzy (born October 14, 1988 in Greensboro , North Carolina ) is an American actress .

life and career

Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, Mauzy grew up in Lancaster , Pennsylvania , and after a few years moved to New York City and later to Los Angeles . Before she ventured into the film and television business, she gained stage experience at various theaters in New York , Virginia and North Carolina. There she played in musicals such as A Christmas Carol , Snow White and the Shakespeare production Macbeth . In 1998 she received the Anna Wentworth Award for Best Child Actor for her role as Annie in the musical of the same name , a production of the Showtimer Theater in Roanoke , Virginia . Mauzy gained her first acting experience on television when she was cast in the world's longest running soap opera, Springfield Story , in October 2000, where she played Elizabeth "Lizzi" Spaulding until August 2002 .

After her time at Springfield Story , the budding young actress turned her back on the film and television business for a few years and concentrated mainly on her musical and theater performances. After she had an appearance in 2006 in the episode Stealing Home of the US crime series CSI: NY , the young actress started a successful time in the endless series Reich und Schön in the same year , where, according to IMDb, she was until her departure from the Starred in 232 episodes in 2008. During the filming of Reich und Schön in 2007, Mauzy also appeared in an episode of Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten .
