Mads True (born April 17, 1972 in Aarhus ) is a former Danish ice hockey player . His brothers Søren and Mikkel were also professional ice hockey players.

Career

Mads True began his career as an ice hockey player with the Odense Bulldogs , with whom he rose straight away from the second division 1st division to the AL-Bank Ligaen in his rookie year in the 1990/91 season . In 1994 the center was voted the best Danish player in the AL-Bank Ligaen. From 1995 to 2002 he played for the Rungsted IK , with which he won the Danish championship title in 2002. He also won the Danish Cup competition with the team in 2000. From 2002 until his retirement in 2012 at the age of 40, True was once again on the ice for the Odense Bulldogs, with whom he won the Danish Cup competition three times in 2003, 2006 and 2009.

International

For Denmark , True took part in the junior division of the U18 Junior B European Championship in 1990 and the U20 Junior B World Championship in 1991 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the B World Championships in 1992 , 1994 , 1995 , 1996 , 1997 , 1998 , 1999 , 2000 , 2001 and 2002 as well as at the A World Championships in 2003 , 2004 and 2005 .
