Magda Kropiunig

Magda Kropiunig , actually Magdalena Kropiunig , (* 1977 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Magda Kropiunig first attended Herta Fauland's drama school Odeon in Klagenfurt, from 1997 she studied at the state drama academy in Ljubljana , completing her training in 2001. At the same time she played in Slovenian off-theaters , and she was seen in a sitcom on Slovenian television.

Kropiunig is married to the director Gerhard Fresacher, with whom they have two daughters. In Fresacher's productions she played around 2003/04 at the Klagenfurt Ensemble with Hunger in 2015 and 2010 with Diffusgänger , in 2007 at the 3raum Anatomietheater in Dark City and in 2011 at the Garage X in Kirschgarden in Vienna . She had other appearances, for example, at the Slovenian National Theater, at the Klagenfurt City Theater , as part of the Wiener Festwochen and at the New Stage in Villach. In 2010 she played the role of Jeanette in the musical The Full Monty at the Spas Teater in Ljubljana, and in 2011 she starred as Judita in the world premiere of Storklje Umirajo (Dying Storks) at the Slovenian Theatro Capodistria.

Together with Christoph Grissemann and Dirk Stermann , she appeared in the play Sonny Boys by Neil Simon at the Vienna Rabenhof Theater from 2016. From September 2017, she presented the celebrity interviews section in the satire broadcast Tagespresse aktuell on ORF . In 2018 she was seen in the multimedia comic performance of the Austrian Superheroes (ASH) at the Rabenhof Theater alongside Christian Strasser and Randolf Destaller. In December 2019 she was a guest on the ORF program “fact or fake” presented by Clemens Maria Schreiner .

In addition to acting, she works as a spokesperson for TV documentaries and as a presenter for the ORF regional studio in Carinthia.
