Malagnino is a municipality with 1718 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cremona in the Italian region of Lombardy . Malagnino is 80 km southeast of Milan and 7 km east of Cremona. Due to the rural flair and the proximity to the city of Cremona, Malagnino is characterized by an increase in population.

history

The municipality of Malagnino developed from a small Roman settlement, due to a former main traffic artery. The municipality is still crossed by irrigation canals from the Roman period.

In the municipality are located next to the main town of the fractions San Giacomo Lovara and San Michele, as well as the living spaces Casal Malombra, Malagnina, Santa Lucia Lama, Sette Pozzi, Visnadello and Zona Artigianale.
