Stagno Lombardo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1502 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cremona in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 9 kilometers south-southeast of Cremona on the Po and borders the provinces of Parma and Piacenza ( Emilia-Romagna ). In the Middle Ages the place was called Stagno Pagliaro .
