Castelverde is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5671 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cremona in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 6 kilometers northwest of Cremona . The Naviglio di Cremona Canal flows through the municipality

The former Strada Statale 498 Soncinese (today: Provincial Road) runs through the municipality from Seriate to Cremona. The former Strada Statale 415 Paullese (now also a provincial road) runs through the district of Costa Sant'Abramo from Paullo to Cremona.
