Pianengo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2527 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Cremona in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 40 kilometers northwest of Cremona and about five kilometers north of Crema . Pianengo is part of the Parco del Serio . The Serio flows through the municipality or forms the eastern municipality boundary.
