Manuel De Toni (born January 10, 1979 in Feltre ) is an Italian ice hockey player who has been with HC Alleghe since 1994 and is currently under contract in Serie B.

Career

Manuel De Toni spent his entire club career at HC Alleghe . Mostly he played with the team in Serie A1 , the top Italian division. For the team, he made his professional ice hockey debut in the 1994/95 season . The center has been the team captain in Alleghe since the 2011/12 season . After the 2012/13 season, the club had to leave Serie A and started a fresh start in the third division . After the immediate promotion to the second-rate Serie B , they also won the title there in 2015, but the team failed in the promotion games and thus remained in Serie B.

International

For Italy , De Toni took part in the junior division of the U18 Junior B European Championships in 1995 and 1997 as well as the U20 Junior B World Championship in 1997 and the U20 Junior C World Championship in 1999 . In the senior division, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2003 , 2004 , 2009 and 2011 and in the top division in 1999 , 2000 , 2001 , 2002 , 2006 , 2007 , 2008 , 2010 and 2012 . He also represented Italy at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and qualifying for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
