Manuel María Borrero

Manuel María Borrero (born May 10, 1883 in Cuenca , † June 7, 1975 in Quito ) was an Ecuadorian lawyer, writer and politician and from August 20, 1938 to December 2, 1938 interim president of his country.

Borrero studied law at the Universidad de Cuenca and graduated in 1906. He held various political posts at different levels and was a member of the Supreme Court on several occasions. In 1938 he was a member of the Constituent Assembly and was elected president on an interim basis.
