Aurelio Mosquera Narváez
Aurelio Mosquera Narváez (born August 2, 1883 in Quito ; † November 16, 1939 ibid) was an Ecuadorian medic and politician and from December 2, 1938 until his death on November 16, 1939 president of his country.
Mosquera completed his studies of medicine at the Universidad Central del Ecuador in 1907 with a doctorate as a surgeon and worked at this university from 1908 as a lecturer and from 1928 as rector. He was a member of the Partido Liberal Radical Ecuatoriano and Senator. The circumstances of his death are still unclear. There is speculation as to whether it was a suicide .
