Marc Reichert (* 22. March 1980 in Seftigen ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player , who for many years at SC Bern , the HC Ambri-Piotta and Kloten Flyers in the Swiss National League A was active. With SC Bern he was Swiss champion three times in his career .

Career

Reichert began his career at EHC Burgdorf , for which he went through all junior departments. In 1996 he finally moved to SC Bern , where he made his debut in the National League A in the first year . There he played - in addition to a brief guest appearance at EHC Biel in 1998 - until 2002, before the striker was signed by EHC Kloten . During the 2004/05 season he went back to SC Bern, for which he played regularly until 2012. In the 2009/10 season he won the Swiss championship with the Bernese . For the 2012/13 season the striker was signed by HC Ambrì-Piotta . In April 2014 it was announced that Reichert was moving back to SC Bern in exchange with Alexei Dostoinow . In the following years he was twice champion with the SCB. After winning the championship in April 2017, Reichert announced his retirement from professional sport. His jersey number 26 has been banned from SC Bern.

International

Reichert made his debut in 1997 in the junior team of the Swiss national ice hockey team . From the 2001 World Cup , he was part of the team's regular squad and completed 133 international matches by the end of his career.
