Margarita Valeryevna Dulowa ( Russian Маргарита Валерьевна Дулова ; born January 4, 1972 ) is a former Kazakh biathlete .
Margarita Dulowa lives in Kökschetau . The sports teacher began biathlon in 1986 and started for the army sports club ZSKA . Before switching to biathlon, she was a cross-country skier . The first major event was the Biathlon World Championships in 1993 in Borowetz , where she was 38th in the individual and 39th in the sprint. She missed the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer , but took part again in the Biathlon World Championships in Antholz in 1995 . With 21st place in the individual and 17th in the sprint, she achieved good results and was also with Galina Avtaeva , Elena Murashko and Lyudmila Gurjewa 13th of the relay competition. At the start of the 1995/96 season , she won points in the Biathlon World Cup for the first time as the 21st sprint in Östersund . Only a little later, Dulowa achieved her best result in the World Cup with a fifth place in the sprint at Holmenkollen in Oslo and at the same time the only place in the top ten. At the 1996 Winter Asian Games in Harbin , she won the silver medal behind Inna Scheschkil in the individual, as well as with the relay. The 1997 Biathlon World Championships in Osrblie brought a 59th place in the individual, a 72nd place in the sprint, a sixth place in the relay race with Scheschkil, Jelena Dubok and Guriewa and a 12th place in the team competition, also with these three competitors.
The high point of his career was the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano . In the sprint, Dulowa was on the routes of Nozawa Onsen 18th, with Scheschkil, Dubok and Guriewa eleventh in the relay race. A year later she won the relay race at the Winter Asian Games 1999 in Gangwon-do with Galina Avtajewa , Dubok and Guriewa. In addition, she was second behind Yu Shumei in the sprint and third in the individual behind Shumei and Liu Xianying . In Khanty-Mansiysk , the Kazakh woman took part in the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2000 and finished fifth in the sprint and eighth in the pursuit. The last major event was the 2001 Biathlon World Championships in Pokljuka , where she came 42nd in the sprint and 53rd in the pursuit. After the season she ended her career.
