Marouan Azarkan (born December 8, 2001 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch football player . He has played for Feyenoord Rotterdam since his youth and is a young Dutch national player.

Career

Marouan Azarkan came to the Feyenoord Rotterdam football school at the age of eleven and received a professional contract on May 2, 2018 at the age of 16. On September 15, 2019, at the age of 17, he made his debut in the Eredivisie in a 3-2 home win in the neighborhood duel against ADO Den Haag when he came on for Luis Sinisterra in the 72nd minute. Since the season was canceled on April 21, 2019, this game remained for Azarkan, who was still eligible to play for the A-youth this season, his only appearance for the professional team of Feyenoord Rotterdam.

National team

From 2015 to 2016 Marouan Azarkan played seven times for the Dutch U15, then he played for the Dutch U16 until 2017. He scored one goal each for both national teams. After playing three games for the Netherlands U18s and scoring two goals in 2018, Azarkan is currently playing for the Dutch U19 national team.
