Orkun Kökçü (born December 29, 2000 in Haarlem ) is a Dutch - Turkish football player who has been under contract with Feyenoord Rotterdam since the beginning of his professional career . He is also a young Turkish national player who also has a Dutch passport.
Career

Orkun Kökçü, son of a Turkish father, who comes from the small Turkish town of Emirdağ , and a mother of Turkish origin born in the Netherlands, was born in Haarlem, North Holland . He began with club football at the local clubs Olympia Haarlem and later HFC EDO, Haarlemsche Football Club Eendracht Doet Overwinnen. In 2014 he moved to the youth academy of Feyenoord Rotterdam via Stormvogels '28 and FC Groningen , initially playing with the U15 juniors. Kökçü's manager announced in July 2019 that his client would appear for the Turkish national team in the future. In August 2019, at the age of 18, he was appointed to the Turkish national teams for the U21 internationals for the first time by the Turkish U21 national coach Vedat Inceefe .
