Martin Brücker

Martin Brücker (* 1980 in Bad Hersfeld ) is a German actor and voice actor .

Life

Martin Brücker was born the son of an engineer . From an early age he worked as an extra at the Bad Hersfeld Festival in his hometown . After graduating from high school, he first studied psychology for one semester at the University of Marburg . He then moved to Freiburg im Breisgau , where he took acting lessons at the Freiburg Drama School from 2003 to 2007 . He also took singing lessons (2004–2005) and later attended various seminars and workshops for film acting.

Brücker had his first stage engagements during his studies at the Bad Hersfeld Festival and at the Kammerspiele in the E-Werk in Freiburg . After graduating with a ZAV recording, there followed theater engagements at the Stadttheater Luzern (2007, as a guest in the opera Die Schnecke by Moritz Eggert and Hans Neuenfels ), at the Theater für Niedersachsen / Hildesheim (2007, leading role as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet ), at the Hamburger Sprachwerk (2008–2009) and at the Altonaer Theater (2009–2011).

From 2011 he made several guest appearances at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival . He played the parcel delivery man Manuel Rodrigues in the travesty comedy Ganz Kerle by the Canadian author Kerry Renard (2011), the student Husemann in Die Feuerzangenbowle (2011), the Romeo (2013) and the young Sigismund Sülzheimer in the operetta Im Weißen Rößl (2013 ).

In 2013 he appeared at the Altona Theater as Carl Friedrich Gauß 's rebellious son Eugen in a stage version of Daniel Kehlmann's novel Die Vermessung der Welt . In the 2013/14 season he was a guest at the Packhaus Theater Bremen as a stripping steel worker Wesley in the successful play Ladies' Night by Anthony McCarten . In 2015 he appeared at the Burgfestspiele Jagsthausen in the title role in the children's and youth play Robin Hood .

Brücker had other theater appearances at the comedy Bielefeld (2014), at the Neuen Theater Hannover (2016), on the Theaterschiff Bremen (2017) and in the art center "Alte Molkerei Worpswede" (2017).

Brücker has also been in front of the camera for film and television since 2007. He had leading and supporting roles in short films, feature films, TV films and episode roles, etc. a. in the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante (2008) and Da geht Kalle (2010). In June 2018, Brücker was seen in the 21st season of the ARD television series In all friendship in a leading role in the episode, in which he played Sebastian Lummer, the son of a patient who has had no contact with his father for many years.

Brücker also works regularly as a voice actor ; he lent his voice a. Billy Magnussen and Israel Broussard . He is also active as a speaker for radio plays and audio books .

Brücker lives with his wife, whom he met during his time in Freiburg, as a freelance actor in Hamburg .
