Martin Hoffmann (born May 15, 1984 in Bergen on Rügen ) is a German ice hockey player who has played for the ECDC Memmingen in the Bavarian ice hockey league since the 2011/12 season.

Career

Martin Hoffmann began his career in 2000 with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin in the German Junior League . In the 2002/03 season he also made his first appearances in the German Ice Hockey League for the Eisbären Berlin . The defender was still active in Berlin until 2005 before moving to the Hamburg Freezers at the end of the 2004/05 season. In summer 2005 Hoffmann then signed a contract with the SERC Wild Wings in the 2nd Bundesliga . He stayed there for two years before joining EV Landsberg . As part of the cooperation with the Iserlohn Roosters , he also came to a game in the DEL for the Sauerlanders . In the 2008/2009 season, Hoffmann was under contract with EV Ravensburg and only played 14 games for the Tower Stars due to a shoulder injury . In April 2009 he was signed by the Dresden Ice Lions, but initially only received a trial contract due to the injury. After the trial contract expired and 15 games for the Eislöwen, he returned to EV Landsberg in the league before moving on to Kaufbeuren. The following year he joined the Memminger Indians, with whom he a. a. Bavarian runner-up was (2013/14).
